Occupational Health & Safety is an integral part of discussions at Board meetings and the Board of Directors are kept regularly updated on any OH&S issues.

Safety in Factory, in Field and in Operation

Long Pipes is accredited to ISO 9001 and one of the benefits is a focus on safe operations in our Perth based factory that has been incident free since early 2018. The Las Cruces factory in New Mexico will be accredited to ISO 9001 and our Joint Venture partner, Big Tuna also has a strong focus on safety. There is also a high regard for safety in Las Cruces when our pipes are being manufactured.

For the manufacture of long length pipes on-site, the Long Pipes team will adopt the same commitment to safety as in the factory.

Long Pipes and Big Tuna recognise the need for pipe laying contractors to operate in a safe manner and will insist they do so as part of their contractual obligations.
